During the planning of the annual memorial service, her parents were contacted by the NYC medical examiners office with the news that Christina’s remains had been found.
The funeral and services were held on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at St. Andrew’s Korean Catholic Church and Evergreen Cemetery with reception at Holiday Inn.
