- Family and friends gather in NYC for the memorial service at Ground Zero.
- Mayor Giuliani recites the names of all the deceased.
During the planning of the annual memorial service, her parents are contacted by the NYC medical examiners office with the news that Christina’s remains have been found.
The memorial service is changed to a funeral service. Funeral and services to be held on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at St. Andrew’s Korean Catholic Church of Cleveland.
